Daily Mombasa services raise flydubai’s Kenya operations to 11 flights weekly
DUBAI-based carrier flydubai will launch new flights to Nairobi International Airport (NBO) from 15 October 2025, marking another milestone in its East Africa operations.
The new route will operate four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from Terminal 3, Dubai International Airport.
Alongside this addition, flydubai will increase its Mombasa operations to daily services from 1 October 2025. This brings the airline’s total number of flights to Kenya to 11 each week, enhancing connectivity for passengers between Dubai and two of Kenya’s major cities.

“Kenya is an important market for flydubai, and we are pleased to strengthen our operations with the addition of Nairobi and the increased frequency of our service to Mombasa,” said Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at flydubai. He added that the expanded services will enhance access for trade, travel and tourism, while contributing to stronger economic and cultural ties between the UAE and Africa.
The airline has grown steadily in Africa, building a network that now covers 12 destinations across the continent. Alongside Nairobi and Mombasa, flydubai connects Dubai to Alexandria, Addis Ababa, Al Alamein (seasonal summer route), Asmara, Cairo, Dar es Salaam, Djibouti, Entebbe, Hargeisa and Zanzibar.

Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations (UAE, GCC, Africa and South Asia) at flydubai, said: “This expansion provides more convenient options for customers from the UAE and across our network to access Kenya, whether they are travelling for business, leisure or to visit friends and family.”
Passengers travelling to Nairobi in Business Class can enjoy lie-flat seats, internationally inspired menus and extensive entertainment. Economy Class travellers benefit from reclined seating with adjustable leather headrests.

Return Business Class fares from Dubai to Nairobi start from Dh4,500, while Economy Lite fares begin from Dh1,700. For flights originating from Nairobi, Business Class return fares start from $2,000 and Economy Lite fares from $500.
